I'm trying to upgrade from a freebie one to a paid version and I keep getting an error when clicking Buy Now. I notice there's another post elsewhere on exactly the same topic and a reply implied that the problem had been fixed. Well it aint fixed (at least for me).

Please sort as I've had this problem for almost a week now and it doesn't reassure me about using and relying on Trumba.

I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY!!!!! ;-)

Cheers

Duncan

Hi Duncan,
Thanks for posting to the forums. I'm sorry you're not able to give us your money! One of our developers has implemented a fix, and I believe the new release is scheduled ot be available later this week. When he's available, I'll double-check, and if I hear anything different, I'll post more info today. Otherwise, we should be accepting money from people starting tomorrow or Friday at the latest. : )

Hi Jill

Thanks for your reply. The Buy Now link no longer returns an error message.

HOWEVER....

The price on the Buy Now page says it'll cost $99.95 per month, whereas on other pages it states that price per year. I'm assuming that its not really $99.95 per month!!

Also, I fill in all the details (credit card etc) and click the 'Purchase' button. It then asks me to enter my username and password again and takes me to another blank Buy Now screen.

So do I have to enter in all my details again? Will it appear as another transaction on the credit card? What's going on?

I'm starting to really lose confidence in Trumba - waiting almost 2 weeks to fix a known problem and then it still not working correctly. I want to give you money, but you don't seem to want it!

UPDATE:

A little before 1 PM PST today our site software was updated to address this issue. Thank you for your patience. If you have trouble purchasing, please Trumba Support know.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

Hi Duncan and anyone else reading along, if you need a Trumba Professional Account urgently, please email support at corp.trumba.com and we will assist you. If this is not an urgent issue, please continue to use your Basic account, and we'll post an update as soon as it is possible to upgrade your account yourself.

At the moment (completely unrelated to the issue that you reported previously Duncan, which was fixed a good while back) we are experiencing a problem with the Buy Now link when you attempt to upgrade from Trumba Basic to Trumba Professional.

We are working on addressing the issue and testing prior to deployment as quickly as we can. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will check back on this thread or email support at corp.trumba.com if you need urgent assistance. If you email us, please do include a phone number where we can reach you. We ask that you not include your credit card information in any emails that you send us.

Thank you for your patience and interest in upgrading your account from Basic to Professional.

Well well well. It appears the $99 a month wasn't an error on the Buy Now form after all - inconsistent with the your pricing on the other pages nonetheless.

I mean honestly $99 a MONTH. The service I've seen so far is not worth $99 a YEAR! This is quite frankly a total rip off and I hope Trumba gets everything it deserves.

I guess the only upside is that the whilst the "developers" were fiddling about trying to fix the problem of not being able to receive payments (duh!), it bought me a couple of weeks, at which point this new pricing policy came to light.

Needless to say my experiences of Trumba to date have been decidedly poor, so I have absolutely no desire to commit any further time, effort or money.

Goodbye and good riddance!
