Why, when an event is cancelled, are the notes no longer visible. If an event is cancelled, I want to be able to put something in the notes section about why it was cancelled, when it's reschedule to, etc. I can add stuff to the notes section, but when a user clicks on the event for more information, the notes section does not display.

Hi wyndwoman,
Good question -- I don't know why for sure, but my guess would be something along the lines of not wanting to confuse people with info about an event that isn't going to happen. But I can see that many times when you cancel you want to tell people why or tell them when the event will happen.

I'll forward the comments and log a feature request, but in the meantime, would it work, instead of using the Cancelled check box, to change the description text to add the "Cancelled" label yourself, and then edit your notes as you want? There would be no difference that I know of in how people who view or subscribe to your calendar would be notified. Just to be safe, you could send an extra one-time email to let people on your distribution list know about the change (if you email this calendar).

Good suggestion. Why didn't I think of it?
