Is there a way to skip a recurring event if it falls on a common holiday like Christmas, New Years Day, July 4th etc.? Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
You could deal with this one of these ways:

• Delete the instance of the event that occurs on the holiday. (It's easiest to do this in List view.)
  
• Edit the holiday instance of the event in a way that indicates that it doesn't occur on the holiday. For example, change the description or notes to say that it won't happen that day. Then select the button to change only that event.
  
• You could also check the Canceled box for that day (in the Edit Event form), and that will remove most of that day's event details from the published view (notes, location, etc.).

Personally, I like the second option the best because it's the most informative. By the way, I'm sorry that your forum post didn't go live right away. I've been changing the member groups a bit, and I accidentally set the default group's posts to require moderator approval. I've fixed it now. Hope this helps!
