Does Trumba have a field type that allows HTML in it?

What I'm wanting to do is add several fields to a Sports event type that would allow us to link to game recaps and to audio and video of a game.

I realize there is the Web Link field type. That's close, but I don't want to show the actual link since some of those links are quite long. For instance, I'd prefer to display the score and have it link to the recap like: W: 45-32.

In other words, I'm trying to use Trumba to replicate the table at: http://www.taylor.edu/athletics/mbasketbal.../schedule.shtml I can do everything with Trumba but the linking.

Oh, and by the way, while just being able to put HTML in a field and have it render would be nice, it'd be even nicer if it was WYSIWYG or some easier way for the average user to just put the text they want and the link they want without having to know HTML.

Thanks.

Evan

Hi Evan,
Jeez, I'm sorry I didn't answer this last Fri. You can create the kind of link you want in a multi-line text field. It supports the same HTML that's supported in the standard Notes field. Here's some more info about the tags that are supported: Use HTML in event notes.

I'll add your wysiwyg comments to our feature request log -- I think this has come up before, but as far as I know, it might be awhile before dev would be able to consider implementing it. I'm sorry I don't have a more promising answer on that right now.

That looks like it might work. Thanks Jill.
