Hey -
I'm having trouble changing my default calendar view.
I have the main calendar embedded in my website.
I have changed all the Calendar Settings I can think of and even deleted the customization and old view that I have been using. When I click Preview within the settings - the event display correctly. But when I visit my site - opening in a new window, refreshing, etc... it still defaults to the old view...
If you could offer any assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
default calendar view

Hi jland,
Would you be able to send me a link to your site so I can take a look? Also, what view is it showing you, and what view do you want it to display by default? (I'll see if this matches in my browser.)
Meanwhile, in case you haven't checked these things:
I hope one of these suggestions leads somewhere... Let me know what you find out.

Meanwhile, in case you haven't checked these things:
- Try using a different browser.
- Try deleting temporary internet files and cookies and open again in the browser.
- When you're in the Publishing Control Panel, in the top section, click the button Edit Publishing Settings. On the Publish Settings page, you can select the default view. I couldn't tell if you already did this... (Also, I'm not sure why it wouldn't take if you just used the spud setting, but it's something to try if you haven't, and we can investigate further if this resolves the problem.)
url: { template: "[template name]"}
If this parameter is in the spud code, it will override the settings that you make in the UI. I hope one of these suggestions leads somewhere... Let me know what you find out.

Hey Jill,
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Thanks for your help. It actually worked after a couple of hours. Not sure why there was delay - anyway, thanks again.

Hi jland,
We do have some caching settings on the spuds. I wonder if that had something to do with it. Usually it should take no more than 15 mins. to update. If your calendar does get into a state where it's taking longer to show changes you make behind the scenes, you could email support at corp.trumba.com with your URL, sign-in email, and browser you're using. Then don't make any more changes to your calendar or browser settings, and support can have a developer take a look while it's misbehaving. I will add that even if it takes a few hours, it won't take longer than 24 hours. Our systems reset the caching overnight (pacific time). I'm not sure if I'm wording this correctly, but that's kind of the very simplified gist of it. : ) Either way, let us know.
