I'm having trouble changing the calendar names for a few of my calendars. I went into settings, typed the name name and published. Now, both names are appearing leaving me with one very long repetitive name. Can I change a calendar name after it's been published? I tried following the help files, but could not resovle the issue.

Please advise.

Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the forums, and I'm sorry that changing the calendar name after publishing is confusing. Let me know if you've tried this:
1. Open your Publishing Control Panel, and then click the Edit Publish Settings button in the top section.
2. In the Publish Settings, change the name. Calendar name is the one that appears in the header on the hosted page, and web name is the one that appears in the URL and spud code.

Let me know how that works, and we'll go from there. (Also, if it doesn't work, if you can send me the URL to your published calendar, that might help.) Thanks!

I've done this already, but tried again just in case. It did not work. The calendar in question is a sub-calendar if that helps.

Here is the URL: http://www.trumba.com/calendars/blake_medi..._medical_center
As you can see, Blake Medical Center now says H2U after the hospital name multiple times. I just want the calendar name to be H2U if possible. The name was too long before and was not visible on the mixed-in calendar.

Thanks,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for your URL. This really helps. Yikes, though, huh? I will check out what's going on and post more news this afternoon.

Hey Jill -

I fixed it by going into the settings again...unless you guys fixed it, in which case I owe you a big thanks!

I think I inadvertently made the calendar a top-level calendar when I changed the name. When I moved it back to a sub-calendar and changed the name it worked.

That's awesome, Melissa! Wow, I'm glad you figured this out. I'm still reporting the issue with the @ sign, though. It looks pretty scary when you don't know what's going on. It's also related to an existing issue that our developers fixed a week or so ago, so this should be pretty easy to resolve. Thanks for your posts to let us know about it!
