Greetings all: using Firefox, please go to the calendar displayed on this page: http://www.celebratewestport.org and if possible, tell me what is causing the listings in the calendar boxes to be scrunched up or overlapping, and what I can do to fix it...or if it's a problem at the Trumba end.

Thank you.

Hi Carrimak,
Welcome to the forums! And thanks for including your URL. I will investigate further, but on first glance I'm going to guess that either an issue we ran into once before has reappeared (you can read about it here: Topic 1114), or we've purposely changed certain behavior, maybe to comply with some W3C standards (or maybe Mozilla has changed the Firefox behavior since this happened before). Whatever it is, I can get the real story from development tomorrow or Wed.

The problem happens because the text is unable to wrap, because it doesn't contain any spaces. You can most likely resolve the problem in the meantime by using quotations around the phrase, for example, rather than hyphens, to set it apart as a phrase.

Actually, if you could try this to confirm that it resolves the problem, that would help. It would be good to know early on if we're going down the wrong path!

Hi carrimak,
That's great! I'm glad that helped. Development is still looking into the issue. It looks like the problem doesn't happen *every* time there are events with long descriptions with no spaces, and one of our QA guys has been working to find the conditions that cause it. Thanks for letting us know!
