I like the Trumba system and I use it to power my site Martial Arts Events.
I am probably using trumba is a far more commercial manner than most.
However, below is my wishlist of what I would like to see/do with Trumba.
(Perhaps others have also been thinking of these items).
1. WYSIWYG html in supported fields in events (I really have having to use the HTML tags......)
2. Link tracking - (especially for external sites) I want to know how many times a link from an event has been clicked on and followed.
3. Link to google analytics (or similar) - It would be great to be able to add the Urchin tracker code, similar to what Google analytics uses, to events. Wordpress offers an extension to allow this, so users can better track visits, time on site, etc.
4. Better reporting in Publisher Dashboard :
- I want to have stats more like traditional web analytics programs (pageviews, traffic sources, visits, keywords used, etc)
ideally, I would also like much more detail on individual events, so that I can give feedback to my advertisers regarding the success of their event advertisements.
- As well, I cannot get historical data of any kind. I need to be able to see past activity info, for events posted well in advance. This is so I can compare activity from previous month, etc.
- I would like to get a report on the dates events were added to the calendar, and possibly how many days they have been active. (this would need to cater for past events as well to be really useful)
- I would also like a report on any events that have been submitted to my calendar, but may have been removed by the submiter. (i know that to remove them, you have to provide a reason, so I would like to see that report and the reasons).
5. More data in "Data download" from Publisher dashboard - the info in this downloaded report does not tell me important things (and info that I would have thought to be pretty obvious) such as the event name, or id number.
Also, the activity shown in this report is pretty hard to read through.
6. Ability to show/embed a "sign up" button within event info, so it can easily and clearly be seen by site users. This option needs to be available in "classic month" view.
Preferably, a customised button/icon ability would be great as well, to allow it to match the site design.
7. More editable and customisable event emails - would like to be able to really match these emails to current site design.
8. Enlargeable event images - allow users to click on the event image and enlarge it to view it in more detail.
9. Preview Event - preview how an event will appear on your site, from the "edit event" screen. the evnt could be opened in an additional window, displaying how it will look online. (I want to be able to see how it will look so I can make further edits to the event listings whilst I am already in the edit screen. I am sick of switching back and foward, and having to re-edit listing to tweak formatting and display issues.)
That is all I have for now.
I look forward to some feedback.

These are all great feature requests and we can tell you have put much thought into these feature requests. I will be forwarding these on to our development team for consideration.
What we do with all feature requests is submit them to our dev team for review and prioritization. Almost every week, we add new or enhance existing Trumba Connect features. On the What’s New page on the Trumba site (http://www.trumba.co.../whats_new.aspx), Ted Johnson, Vice President of Products for Trumba Corporation, keeps you informed about what’s new. You can also click Subscribe to set up an RSS, iCal, or Atom feed to automatically receive updates as soon as Ted makes them.

Hi Trumba,
I posted this wishlist about 12 months ago and still have had no further feedback on it. Any news?
Also, at the tie the response I got contained this statement:
I subscribe to the Trumba feed for what's new, and over the past 12 months, I have seen only 20 proper product updates. Mostly tweaks/fixes - not much new stuff.
Admin, would you please post something on this forum to tell the trumba users just what the development team is working on to and/or about to realease?

Hi-
Sorry for the delay - was out enjoying our long 3-day holiday weekend:)
We definitely value all of the feedback and feature requests we get from our clients. Unfortunately, the proprietary nature of our business precludes us from stating what new developments/features we are working on, but please be assured that our development team is hard at work on technologies that will keep us on the cutting edge of calendering software.
We do receive an overwhelming number of feature requests each day from our clients and we try our best to evaluate and prioritize the features that will enhance the product for the majority of our customer base. While many of the feature requests we receive may seem very simple to implement, they all take development resources which we do have to evaluate for each request.
Thanks again for your note!
