  • Interests:I started Soleil's To-Dos in 2000, following a 1 1/2 year stint at a large law firm. No time for a social life, but received info about events; I either forgot about it or didn't attend b/c I didn't have enough info. After leaving, I decided to share information I received with friends & family, and to include as much info about the events as I could. Stuff that "I" would want to know before attending an event. I started using Word docs, but that had its limitations. I knew the direction I wanted to go in & hired a website designer who used way too many manual elements. I fired him & set off to find the perfect calendar. I've got no html or design experience, but I've tried to create the skeleton of my dream website. When I ultimately hire a designer to finish it off, I know that designer will have to at least surpass the bones that I've established, with my rookie self! Take a look at my site, and if you know of a creative designer, I'd appreciate the referral!

My field labels are not appearing properly in my list view. The label "Soleil's Take" is split into two lines and looks confusing when viewed next to the text in that field. Please visit www.soleilstodos.com/newtodos.htm for examples. I need to either format the field label (e.g., bold font) so that it is distinguished from the field content or I need to know how to prevent the field label from breaking into a second line.

You can actually do both :( If you would like to bold the Field Label in the List calendar view, enter in the following for the label field: <b>Soleil's Take</b>

We recently added a “no wrap” setting for the Field Labels in the List calendar view. To make this change, go to Publish and select the Calendar Spuds tab. From here, select Edit Settings & Styles for the List calendar view. Click the Events:Default tab and locate the section titled EVENT DETAILS STYLES. There is a setting for Field label white space that is set to normal by default and you will want to go ahead and select nowrap from the drop down menu and then click OK.

Let me know if this will work for you.
Thanks,
Steve
