Event registration problem

We are having a new issue, where a customer tries to register for an event and gets a message that their email has already been used for that event, even though they are not registered. If you click the "get previous response" it will let you go ahead and register, but I can't figure out why it's getting blocked in the first place. I've checked previous events in the series, and they are all set to only allow people to register for one event, not the whole series. If you look at the event registration list, the name won't show, but they still get that error message if they've signed up for a previous event in the series. This was never a problem before, and we haven't changed any settings. What could the issue be?

Hi,
Please go ahead and email me (support@corp.trumba.com) the email address on the Trumba account, the event title that has registration attached to it as well as the event date and the email address of the person who is attempting to register and I can research this further for you!
