I do not use Outlook Sync, but I do have a few people who subscribe to my published calendar using iCal's feature, RSS and the links to add to their outlook calendar. If I continue my trial as free, will these features stop, or will just my ability to us OUtlook Sync software?

Will I still be able to sync the calendar with Yahoo and iCal etc?

Finally, if I select Free from my trial . . . then decide I want to go with the paid version, will I still be able to take advantage of the special pricing offer? I might want to see how my account changes with the free version . . . them maybe decide then to upgrade with the special price. Let me know.

Hi Lee,
Excellent questions about the RSS subscribing and exchanging info between Trumba and iCal or Yahoo! Yes, RSS feeds are still available with the free version, as are the publish/subscribe between Trumba and iCal/Sunbird features. With Yahoo!, if you're using Event Actions (Add to my calendar, etc.), yes you will still be able to do these things. If you're getting your info to Yahoo! some other way, could you tell me what it is? (For anyone else reading, we don't actually have Yahoo! synchronization, only sync with Outlook via the CalendarSync program, which is available only in the Pro version.)

The best way to see how the free account looks is to sign up for a new free account now with a different email address. Currently the products have only a few differences (as described in Trumba account types; however we do anticipate that going forward the feature sets will start to diverge more and more.

I hope that helps! Thanks for asking.

OK . . . so what you are saying is that as time continues, we may start loosing features in the free calendar?

Also, event features is how I was updating Yahoo . . . so free version seems to still support this.

Hi Lee.

I don't think the free version will lose more features. It just may not get all the new features that we continue to add to the paid version.

But event actions will definitely continue to be available no matter which version you use. In fact, you don't even have to have a Trumba account to take advantage of event actions.
