I am working through setting up calendars, publishing, sharing etc., but I almost have to use 2 computers, one to read the help sections (which are great, by the way) and one to try it on. I have been printing sections out so that I can make notes on the different parts, but it would be so much easier if I could have the equivalent of a manual next to me (that is soooo last decade I know, but I'm an old geezer and like to be able to flip back and forth and write on my notes). Is it possible to go to a doc file and just print the whole darn thing out? I want to be able to quote some parts, and give some written descriptions when I make the proposal to my client to use Trumba.

Also, in what kind of situations does someone go beyond Trumba Pro, and work with your programming staff. I know that you pay for it, but I was wondering what the constraints are, ie I want some special searches and/or printing capabilities. Is that something you can pay to have done? In my proposal, I want to be able to tell them whether or not things that are not currently available can be programmed separately.

Hi coopsen,
Welcome to the Trumba forums. I like printed manuals, too, and I'm sorry we don't have a decent way yet to print out our Help. We're working on making a more printer-friendly version available, but it might be awhile before we can get it done. Until then, I'm afraid the only possibility I can suggest is to copy the content of a topic from the browser into a Word doc. (And of course you can copy multiple topics into the same doc.) It's not great, but possibly better than printing each topic separately from the browser.

Regarding your customization ideas, I can certainly pass along feature requests if you have some specific ones. You're also welcome to go to our Partner page and find out about what we currently have available, and click the link to contact our business dev people if you want. I can't guarantee, though, that development would be able to do what you want to have done. Most of the customization right now is related to providing components of Trumba that are minimally/not branded. I'm not sure that we're ready for developing custom features, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask about it.

We do have some search options coming in the near future, so maybe that will help provide what you're looking for. It's still a few weeks out, but it is in the works.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to help much but hope that what we have coming up will provide some of the things you're looking for.
