Just trying things out.
1) Is it possible in the professional version to extend what appears in the tooltip whilst hovering over events in the calendar? It would be useful for us to be able to concatenate text from location or notes into the tooltip.
2) Is it possible to add a filter on event types?
Thanks

3) Map links - is it possible to edit these? I tend to use www.streetmap.co.uk myself because it is possible to put in a set of coordinates and direct the pointer exactly. The MSN Maplink is pretty good at locating the UK locations but tends to default to one end of the street or the other. I would like the ability to make it point to an exact position on the map.
One more query and then I'll stop for the day.
4) I can see how to colour different sub-calendars. Is it possible to colour event types?

Ok - I've been playing some more. Here are some thoughts:
5) There are multiple regular locations/venues used for events. I would like to cut/paste the map link used or select the location from a dropdown of previous locations used.
6) If the MSN Maplink cannot go to a particular location by coordinate then allow me to paste in a link to another map under my control perhaps a home produced within the website.

Hi Chris. Thanks for trying out Trumba Calendar and for posting to the forums.
First I'll address your map link questions.
At the moment, you can't substitute any other mapping service for one of the ones we offer.
However, there are a couple of ways that you could provide a map link to www.streetmap.co.uk without using our specific map link feature. If you want the map link to show up in published calendar events, you could create a custom field called Map Link (or whatever name you wanted) and include URL's to www.streetmap.co.uk in that field. (I think you've looked at the information about adding custom fields but just in case you haven't, you can find out how create custom fields here: Create custom event fields.)
Or you could add a map link URL to the notes field (see Use HTML code to format text in event and email notes).
If it's ok if the map link shows up only in event details after a calendar visitor clicks the event title in the published calendar, you could put the streetmap URLs into the Weblink field available on default event types.
That's a great suggestion about being able to cut and paste previously used map locations. I'll add that to our feature request list. At some point in the not too distant future, you will be able to copy events, which is another way of re-using a commonly used map link.
I'm afraid at this time you can't color code event types (we do have that request in our feature request list). To show different event types in different colors, the event types would have to belong to different calendars .
When you talk about seeing Notes when hovering over events, I assume you're talking about the editing environment rather than the published calendar. Right now, no matter what type of account you have, you can't see notes by hoving over an event title. However, in Week and List views, the notes are visible on the calendar. I believe we do have a feature request for seeing notes in a tooltip but I'll check and add it if it's not there.
I hope I've addresses all of your questions.
Connie
