  1. One of my calendar users has reported receiving multiple, recurrent reminders throughout yesterday at half hourly intervals. My immediate solution was to ask her to unsubscribe from any/all reminders, which she said she did. Has anyone else reported this? Is there any known issue that could cause this from the Trumba end? The message from this user started as "Hi there, just thought would let you know that I have been getting half hourly to hourly event reminders today. Is there a glitch in your reminder system? Cheers"; then I did some investigation and discovered that she has subscribed twice to receive the weekly reminders. With her permission I deleted the unwanted second e-mail address from the weekly subscription. The recurrent reminders continued to get sent to her. The user then admitted to having had her e-mail hacked recently and assured me that she had reset her e-mail password. I asked the user to check to see if the hackers have left an unknown e-mail forward on her account. I have not yet heard back on this point. Any ideas?
  2. Location search (miles versus kilometers)

The Location Search spud lets visitors find events that take place within a specific distance of their current location (detected automatically) or of a geographical location they provide (for example, within 20 kilometers of Auckland, New Zealand or within 10 miles of 1200 5th Avenue, Seattle). To set the unit of measure (miles versus kilometers): In the editing environment, make the publication active for which you want to set the unit of measure. Click Publish. In the Publishing Control Panel, on the Publish Settings tab, click Edit Publish Settings. In the Publish Settings section of the form, select the unit of measure you want to use. Unit of measure settings are reflected in the Location Search spud. Click OK.
  3. We don't use "Miles" here in New Zealand, instead we use Kilometres. Unless you are a Kiwi older than about 40 you wont even know what a Mile is! Could we please have a choice of displaying Miles or Kilometres in the Location Search control spud?
  4. Is there any way of finding out what IP addresses or sites are taking or subscribing to RSS (and the other) feeds from my Trumba calendars?
  5. Hi Is there any way to ensure that some one else can't come along, read my publicly published calendar, look at the source code an dsee how the iFrames are set up and then simply go away and set up their own web page that points to my calendar? As my calendar gains users and events it will be tempting for other people to re-publish my hard work. How can I prevent this? Thanks Equest Admin
  6. Hi I realise that the back key is an issue when using AJAX type javascript but surely you can do something to fix the annoying feature where it takes my users off site when they use it within a calendar. If a user clicks on an event to see the details and then wanting to go back to view the calendar and they click on the back key instead of clicking on the Trumba supplied link to take them back, then they leave the site altogether. This is really confusing people. Could you either disable the back key or better, get it to work as expected. I use Gmail from google and they seem to be able to get the back key to function correctly, can you guys do that too? Great product by the way. Thanks Equest Admin
