Installing an Upcoming Event spud in TypePad

Note You can embed either the Upcoming Events or Crawler spud in your blog. You can't embed two spuds from the same calendar at the same time.

 

To add an Upcoming Events or Upcoming Events Crawler spud to a TypePad blog from a Trumba® Connect calendar:

  1. Sign in to your Trumba Connect account. (If you don't have a Trumba Connect account, you will need to sign up for one.)
  2. In the Your Calendars list, click the title of the calendar with events that you want to display in your TypePad blog.
  3. Click Publish above the calendar.
  4. If you see the Publish Options page, choose the settings you want, and then click OK.
  5. In the Publishing Control Panel, scroll to the section called Promotion Spuds.
  6. If the Upcoming Events or Upcoming Events Crawler spuds are not listed in the Promotion Spuds section, click Add a Promotion Spud.
  7. Select the Upcoming Events or Upcoming Events Crawler spud, and then click OK.
  8. Back in the Promotion Spuds section, for the spud you just added, click Edit Settings.
  9. On the Edit Settings page, choose the paging and popup options you want, and then click Install on TypePad.
  10. If you're not signed in to your TypePad account, you'll be asked to sign in.
  11. In TypePad: On the Add a Sidebar Widget page, select the TypePad blog to which you want to add the Trumba spud. Click Add a Widget.
  12. Click Change Content Ordering to position the spud in your weblog sidebar. Click View Weblog to see the spud in action.
