Branding on Paid Version

Recommended Posts

Hello innovativethinker,

The text "Hosted calendar powered by" along with the trumba icon is always be displayed in the hosted view of a Trumba calendar.

However, if you use spuds to display your calendar information, the text and icon are not displayed.

Here are a few links on spuds that you might want to check out:

I use spuds, but when a user clicks on a spud it takes them to the event, which displays trumba in both the lower left and lower right.

sigh....

Hi innovativethinker,

You still can hide the Trumba icon and "Hosted calendar powered by" text by using the teaserbase variable in the embedded calendar spud you are using. You just need to point the teaserbase variable to the URL of the page with your embedded calendar.

I don't know which embedded spud you are using to display your calendar, but here's an example from our demo site:

http://university.trumba.com/online_calend...ions_table.aspx

The teaserbase variable for the spud on this page is set to:

teaserBase : "http://university.trumba.com/online_calendars/main_month.aspx"

Here are help topics on the teaserbase variable:

http://www.trumba.com/help/api/spudapi_properties.html

http://www.trumba.com/help/api/spudapi.html

Also, in your calendar settings, you can set the embedded calendar URL location to automatically get included as a teaserbase variable for any future spud code you generate. To do this, click Publish and click Edit Publish Settings. In the Publish Settings section, for Calendar address enter the URL of the location on your web site where the Trumba calendar is embedded.

Regards, Nancy / Trumba Support

p.s. If you are interested in hiding "Events powered by Trumba" in the lower right, you would need to talk with someone in our sales department - 1-800-925-0388.
