Why doesn't my Sub-Calendars appear in the RSS Feed?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have one top-level calendar and one sub-calendar. I subscribe to an RSS Feed of my top-level calendar but the feed does not display any of the sub-calednar items. I dont see a way to subscribe to an RSS feed of the sub-calendar. How do I get my Sub-Calendar items to appear in tne RSS Feed?

Thanks!

Hi PoolMan,

If you click the RSS button while you are editing the calendar, versus clicking the RSS button on the published calendar page, the URL for the RSS feed has a slightly different address that only includes feed information for the source calendar you are currently viewing.

Try clicking the RSS button in your published calendar and using that URL instead. The address should look something like this:

http://www.trumba.com/calendars/my_calendar.rss

(instead of this: http://www.trumba.com/service/my_calendar.rss)

If the previous information doesn’t solve your issue, also make sure that you’ve published the subcalendars as mix-ins in Step 3 of the publishing process.
