Add required field to event registration?

I work for a college and we have events for which we want students to register. However, we also need to collect the student's ID number to identify them as they register. Is there any way to add another field (preferably a required field) to the event registration form?

Yes, you can create a custom registration question and custom registration forms using Trumba, but only on the Publisher account. You can create a new question to request the Student ID number and make it a required field on your custom registration form.
