Singular Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 Currently when you use a Summary field on the main calendar view, it also includes that in the detail view, along with the Description field. This info will be repetitive in most cases. Is there a way to have the Summary custom field on the main calendar view, but excluded from the event detail view? Steve A Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 With any custom field that you create, it can either be published (appear with the event) or hidden. There currently is not a way to have a custom field display both ways. Instead of creating a custom field called Summary, hopefully you can use the built-in Description field and treat this as your Summary field, or you can continue to use your Summary custom field, then just remember to not enter any text in the Description field.
